George Maple
Jess Higgs (born 25 May 1989), known professionally as George Maple, is an Australian born, LA based recording artist, songwriter and record producer. In 2017, Maple released her own debut album, ''Lover'' which debuted at #2 on the Australian iTunes Chart. Lover featured US rapper GoldLink and Rome Fortune. Alongside the album she released a series of self directed and produced music videos. In early 2018, she commenced her first national headline tour, the Lover Tour and supported New Zealand singer Lorde. Maple has performed at international festivals Coachella, Lollapalooza and EDC Vegas, as well as Australian festivals; Field Day, Splendour in the Grass, Groovin the Moo and FOMO festival. Etcetc Music is an independent record label based in Sydney, Australia. It is the label of alternative and electronic bands and artists Pnau, George Maple, Kilter, Paces, San Mei, Luke Million, CLYPSO, Luboku, and the Australian releases of Jax Jones, Fisher, Duke Dumont and Fever Ray. Monstercat (formerly known as Monstercat Media) is a Canadian independent electronic music record label based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Founded in 2011 by Mike Darlington and Ari Paunonen, the label released music on a tri-weekly basis until 2018, when this was changed to four releases a week. This would later be changed to six releases a week in 2021. Takudzwa Victoria Rosa "Tkay" Maidza ( ; born 17 December 1995) is a Zimbabwean-born Australian singer-songwriter and rapper. Biography Maidza was born in Harare, Zimbabwe. Her parents are metallurgists. In 2001, her family moved to Australia when she was five years old. They lived in Perth and Kalgoorlie in Western Australia and in Whyalla in South Australia before relocating to Adelaide in 2010.
