Gaëtan Bussmann
Gaëtan Bussmann (born 2 February 1991) is a French professional footballer who plays for Championnat National 2 club Épinal. He plays as a left-back and is also capable of playing in the centre of defence. Bussmann is a French youth international and has represented his nation at U18 and U19 level. He was a part of the team that won the 2010 European U19 Championship on home soil. Career Early career and Metz Born in Épinal, Bussmann began his career at hometown club Épinal and joined Metz in 2004 at the age of 13. While in the club's youth academy, he won the 2009–10 Coupe Gambardella after the club's under-19 team defeated Sochaux 5–4 on penalties in the final. On 4 June 2010, Bussmann signed his first professional contract agreeing to a five-year deal with Metz until June 2015. The 2009–10 Coupe Gambardella was the 55th edition of the French cup competition reserved for male under-19 football players. The competition is organized by the French Football Federation. The final was contested on 1 May 2010 at the Stade de France and served as a curtain raiser for the 2009–10 Coupe de France final. The defending champions were Montpellier, who defeated Nantes 2–0 in the 2008–09 edition of the competition. The current champions are Metz who won the competition by defeating Sochaux 4–3 on penalties in the final after the match ended 1–1 in 90 minutes. The 2010–11 Ligue 2 season (known as ''Ligue 2 Orange'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 72nd since its establishment. Caen were the defending champions. The fixtures were announced on 22 May 2010 and the season began on 6 August and ended on 27 May 2011. The winter break would be in effect between 22 December and 14 January 2011. There were three promoted teams from the Championnat National, replacing the three teams that were relegated from Ligue 2 following the 2009–10 season. A total of 20 teams currently competes in the league with three clubs suffering relegation to the third division, the Championnat National. The 2014–15 Championnat de France amateur was the 17th season since its establishment. CS Sedan Ardennes, ASM Belfort, AS Béziers and Les Herbiers VF were promoted. Teams There were twelve teams promoted from Championnat de France amateur 2, while two teams were relegated from the 2013–14 Championnat de France amateur. No teams came from the 2013–14 Championnat National.
