It is widespread across much of Southeast Asia, including southern China (Hainan, Tibet, Yunnan), Bhutan, Assam, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam, Java, Sumatra, the Philippines, and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
