Garrett Reynolds (BMX Rider)
Garrett Reynolds (born August 2, 1990) is an American BMX Dirt and Freestyle rider from Gold Coast. Reynolds debuted at the X Games 2007 BMX Park 4th the first rookie to score a BMX Park medal since Brazilian Diogo Canina in 2006. In 2007, Reynolds took gold at X Games Brazil, X Games Mexico and X Games Dubai, finishing fourth in the X Games 13 street contest. The X Games are a series of action sports events founded by ESPN Inc. and aired on ESPN networks and ABC. Dew Tour
The Dew Tour is an extreme sports circuit organized by Coalition 375 LLC, an alliance of elite action sports experts. History The tour was announced in late 2004, and made its debut in Louisville, KY in June 2005. The tour then made stops in Denver, Portland, Oregon, and San Jose, California, and wrapped up its inaugural season in Orlando, Florida, in October that year. In its first year, the tour was a major success and returned to those five cities in 2006. In 2007, the tour replaced their Louisville, Denver and San Jose stops with events in Baltimore, Cleveland, and Salt Lake City. They did return to Portland and Orlando that year. Freestyle BMX
Freestyle BMX is bicycle motocross stunt riding on BMX bikes. It is an extreme sport descended from BMX racing that consists of four disciplines: street, park, trails, and flatland. The sport made its Olympic debut at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Early years The earliest photographic documentation of BMX freestyle shows Devin and Todd Bank in 1974 riding BMX bikes on an eight foot tall skateboard ramp they built at their childhood home in West Los Angeles, California. Dirt Jumping
Dirt jumping is the practice of riding bikes over jumps made of dirt or soil and becoming airborne. Dirt jumping evolved alongside BMX racing and is similar to BMX or mountain bike racing in that the rider jumps off of mounds of dirt, usually performing a midair trick in between. It differs in that the jumps are usually much larger and designed to lift the rider higher into the air.
