GAU-19 A Machine Gun
The GAU-19/A (GECAL 50) is an electrically driven, three-barrel rotary heavy machine gun that fires the .50 BMG (12.7×99mm) cartridge. Technical specifications The GAU-19/A is designed to accept standard NATO .50 caliber M9-linked ammunition. The rate of fire is selectable to be either 1,000 or 2,000 rounds per minute. The Humvee armament kit version fires at 1,300 rounds per minute. The average recoil force when firing is 1.7 kN, 2.2 kN or 2.8 kN depending on firing rate. Heavy Machine Gun
A heavy machine gun (HMG) is significantly larger than light, medium or general-purpose machine guns. HMGs are typically too heavy to be man-portable (carried by one person) and require mounting onto a weapons platform to be operably stable or tactically mobile, have more formidable firepower, and generally require a team of personnel for operation and maintenance. OH-58 Kiowa
The Bell OH-58 Kiowa is a family of single-engine single-rotor military helicopters used for observation, utility, and direct fire support. It was produced by the American manufacturer Bell Helicopter and is closely related to the Model 206A JetRanger civilian helicopter. The OH-58 was originally developed during the early 1960s as the ''D-250'' for the Light Observation Helicopter (LOH). Aselsan STAMP-G
The STAMP is a lightweight remote controlled weapon stations manufactured by Aselsan of Turkey. It can be fitted with either a 7.62 mm / 12.7 mm machine gun or a 40 mm automatic grenade launcher. Overview The system stabilizer allows gun to remain on target as the platform beneath it moves. The mounting does not penetrate the platform, making it relatively simple to fit the weapon to ships. It's modular structure enables for upgrades and options according to customer needs. Similar to most other small caliber RCWS its electroptical suit is fixed with its gun. However, Aselsan made a upgraded variant STAMP-2 which has a surveillance mode with independently movable electroptical suit. 200 (12.7 mm) rounds are carried on the mounting inside magazine.
