Follo FK
Follo Fotballklubb is a football club from Ski, Akershus, Norway. Follo play in light blue, and their home ground is Ski stadion. It was founded in September 2000 and their biggest achievement was playing in the 2010 Norwegian Football Cup final. History It was founded in September 2000 as an umbrella team for the football departments of five local teams; Ås IL, Oppegård IL, Langhus IL, Ski IL and Nordby IL. Follo's had a good Norwegian Cup run in 2006, when they made it all the way to the quarter-finals, eventually losing at home 0–1 to the cup finalists Sandefjord. But on the way to the quarters they beat defending holders Molde. Four years later, in 2010, they made it to the Norwegian Cup final, beating Tippeligaen club Lillestrøm 4–2 in the third round, and then later Rosenborg 3–2 in the semi-finals. Lillestrøm Sportsklubb is a Norwegian professional football club based in the city of Lillestrøm, just outside of the capital Oslo. Lillestrøm SK is a Norwegian football club based in Lillestrøm, playing in Eliteserien. The club was founded in 1917, after the merger of two local football clubs. 2006 Norwegian First Division
The 2006 1. divisjon season (referred to as Adeccoligaen for sponsorship reasons) was a Norwegian second-tier football season. The season kicked off on 9 April 2006, with eleven rounds being played before the World Cup break on 5 June. The league resumed on 2 July and the final round was played on 5 November 2006. Strømsgodset were promoted to the Tippeligaen as First Division winners, along with Aalesund who finished second. Strømsgodset will be playing in the top division for the first time since 2001. The 2012 2. divisjon season began on 14 April 2012 and ended on 27 October 2012. The league consisted of 56 teams divided into 4 groups of 14 teams. The four group-winners, Elverum, Kristiansund, Vard Haugesund and Follo was promoted to the 1. divisjon, while the bottom three teams in each groups was relegated to the 3. divisjon. Østsiden Idrettslag Fredrikstad is a Norwegian sports club, based in the city of Fredrikstad. The men's football team currently plays in the Norwegian second division. The club was formed as Østsiden IL on 14 June 1935, and includes football and handball branches. The name "Østsiden Idrettslag Fredrikstad" was introduced after a merge between Østsiden IL and the handball club Fredrikstad HK on 29 November 2007. Asker Fotball
Asker Fotball is the football department of Norwegian sports club Asker SK from Asker. The women's football team is one of the most successful clubs ever in Norway, with six top flight championships and five cup championships. Due to financial difficulties at the end of 2008, the team's licence to play in the Toppserien was revoked; the team members then joined Stabæk IF's football group, Stabæk Fotball, which set up a new women's team. NFF gave Asker's place in the Toppserien to Stabæk Fotball. Asker's second team became Asker's first team, playing in the 2. divisjon, and they now have a recruiting arrangement with Stabæk Fotball. Strømsgodset IF is a Norwegian multi-sports club from Gulskogen in Drammen. It has sections for association football, handball and bandy, but is best known for the top-level football section known as Strømsgodset Toppfotball, which plays in Eliteserien, the Norwegian top flight. The club was founded 10 February 1907, but the football team first found success in the late 1960s and early 1970s, winning a league title and three cups. The famous team from the 1960s and 1970s was popularly known as the "Rødgata Boys", after the street most of them lived on. Hallvar Thoresen
Hallvar Thoresen (born 12 April 1957) is a former Norwegian footballer who played most of his career in the Dutch Eredivisie as an attacking midfielder. The son of former Norwegian international Gunnar Thoresen, Hallvar Thoresen was central in 1980s Norwegian football. Career Club Thoresen started his career in Larvik Turn, but travelled abroad at the age of nineteen, and soon became a regular at FC Twente in the Netherlands. They won the Dutch Cup in 1977 and Thoreson was the club top-scorer in the 1979–80 and 1980–81 seasons. In the summer of 1981 he was sold to PSV Eindhoven for 1.3 million Dutch guilder where he formed a dynamic partnership with Jurrie Koolhof. Helping capturing three league titles, Thoresen was a key player for seven years, serving as captain from 1983 to 1986, until he returned to Norway and played for Frigg in the lower divisions.
