Félix Bruzzone
Félix Bruzzone (born 1976 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentinian writer. Life and work Bruzzone studied literature at the University of Buenos Aires. He was named one of the ten most important authors of the decade by ''Clarín (Argentine newspaper), Clarín'', the largest newspaper in Argentina. His books deal with the National Reorganization Process, Argentine military dictatorship of the 1970s and 1980s and the victims of this era. Bruzzone's parents were among those, the so-called "Forced disappearance, disappeared", his father having been arrested three months before his birth, and his mother abducted a few months later. Their further fate remains unresolved. Bruzzone grew up in the care of his grandmother. The National Reorganization Process ( PRN; often simply , "the Process") was the military dictatorship that ruled Argentina from 1976 to 1983. In Argentina it is often known simply as the ("last military junta"), ("last military dictatorship") or ("last civil–military dictatorship"), because there have been several in the country's history and no others since it ended. The Argentine Armed Forces seized political power during the March 1976 coup against the presidency of Isabel Perón, the successor and widow of former President Juan Perón, at a time of growing economic and political instability. An enforced disappearance (or forced disappearance) is the secret abduction or imprisonment of a person with the support or acquiescence of a State (polity), state followed by a refusal to acknowledge the person's fate or whereabouts with the intent of placing the victim outside the protection of the law. Often, forced disappearance implies murder whereby a victim is kidnapping, abducted, may be illegally prison, detained, and is often tortured during interrogation, ultimately killed, and the body disposed of secretly. The party committing the murder has plausible deniability as there is no evidence of the victim's death. Anna Seghers Preis is a literary prize of Germany. The prize goes back to the German writer Anna Seghers (1900–1983), who stated in her testament that the revenues from her work should be used to encourage promising young writers. The award is endowed with 25,000 euros, to be awarded in equal parts to an author from the German and the Latin American region. The prize has been awarded since 1986 by the Academy of Arts (Berlin) till 1994, later by the Anna Seghers Foundation.
