The Unix command (computing), command fuser is used to show which process (computing), processes are using a specified computer file, file system, or Unix domain socket, Unix socket. Example For example, to check process IDs and users accessing a USB drive: $ fuser -m -u /mnt/usb1 /mnt/usb1: 1347c(root) 1348c(guido) 1349c(guido) The command displays the process identifiers (PIDs) of processes using the specified files or file systems. In the default display mode, each PID is followed by a letter denoting the type of access: ; c : current directory. ; e : executable being run. ; f : open file. ; F : open file for writing. ; r : root directory. ; m : mmap'ed file or shared library Only the PIDs are written to standard output. Additional information is written to standard error. This makes it easier to process the output with computer programs. ''Fuser'' is a rhythm game developed by Harmonix and published by NCSoft. It was released on November 10, 2020 for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. ''Fuser'' allows players to create DJ mixes from a number of licensed musical tracks, awarding the player for synchronized changes of tracks. The game features both single-player and multiplayer modes as well as the means to share remixes with other users. Following the acquisition of Harmonix by Epic Games in 2021, Harmonix shuttered the multiplayer servers in December 2022 and removed the game and additional content from sale, while leaving the single player components playable. Laser printing is an electrostatic digital printing process. It produces high-quality text and graphics (and moderate-quality photographs) by repeatedly passing a laser beam back and forth over a Electric charge, negatively charged cylinder called a "drum" to define a differentially charged image. The drum then selectively collects electrically charged powdered ink (toner (printing), toner), and transfers the image to paper, which is then heated to permanently fuse the text, imagery, or both to the paper.
