Fundación El Hacedor
Fundación El Hacedor is a non-profit organization founded in August 2007 by the writer José Luis Rodríguez Pittí to advance cultural, social, and educational projects, by using literature, music, and art as a vehicle to achieve personal and community development. Some projects that Fundación El Hacedor has been involved with cultural recovery projects to highlight Panamanian identity, education and training programs, programs with risk groups (prisons, schools in red zones), national forums, conferences, recitals, environmental projects, publishing projects (paper-based and electronic), artistic events, and concerts. José Luis Rodríguez Pittí
José Luis Rodríguez Pittí is a Panamanian contemporary writer, video artist and documentary photographer. He is the author of short stories, poems and essays. Rodríguez Pittí is author of the books ''Panamá Blues'' (2010, ''miniTEXTOS'' (2008), ''Sueños urbanos'' (2008) and ''Crónica de invisibles'' (1999). Most of his stories and essays were published in literary magazines and newspapers. In 1994, the Universidad de Panamá awarded him with the Premio "Darío Herrera". Danilo Pérez (born December 29, 1966) is a Panamanian pianist, composer, educator, and a social activist. His music is a blend of Panamanian roots with elements of Latin American folk music, jazz, European impressionism, African, and other musical heritages that promote music as a multi-dimensional bridge between people.
