Frock Me (tv Series)
''Frock Me'' is a British fashion and music television series hosted by fashion icon Alexa Chung, designer Henry Holland and style scout Gemma Cairney. The show has a fast-paced magazine format exploring the relationship between and influences of music and fashion on each other; featuring big-name designers, celebrity guests and bands. It was first broadcast within Channel 4's teen zone T4 from October 2008 as a seven-part studio series. A second location-based series of six episodes aired on T4 and late-night Channel 4 in April/May 2010. Each episode of the show was themed around a current youth and fashion trend, and explored the music and fashion connections and influences behind each trend. The guests, features and bands in each show related to this theme. Alexa Chung
Alexa Chung (born 5 November 1983) is an English model and television personality. Chung pursued a modelling career as a teenager after being scouted by a modelling agency at the Reading Festival. She has walked for brands such as Vivienne Westwood, Stella McCartney and Miu Miu, as well as being the face of Pepe Jeans, Lacoste, DKNY Jeans, Tommy Hilfiger and Longchamp (company), Longchamp. Henry Holland (born 26 May 1983) is an English fashion designer, businessman and blogger from Ramsbottom, Greater Manchester. Early life and education Holland is a graduate of the BA Journalism course at the London College of Communication and has worked for the following publications: the teenage ''Sneak magazine'' (fashion section), ''Smash Hits'' and ''Bliss''. He is openly gay. Career Prior to the launch of his own company, Holland gained attention with his Fashion Groupies T-shirt designs. Holland's range of 1980s-inspired T-shirts displayed catchphrases such as, "I'll tell you who's boss, Kate Moss". T4 (Channel 4)
''T4'' was a scheduling slot on Channel 4 (''T4 Saturday'' usually 9 am until 2 pm) and E4 (''T4 Sunday'' usually 9 am until 5 pm). It also aired on weekdays in the school holidays. The slot had a separate station identification on screen graphic from Channel 4 and E4. Channel 4 originally produced the strand in-house until 2002, when production was passed onto independent companies. The slot was targeted at the 16–24 age group. Until 25 March 2012, ''T4'' aired on Channel 4 both Saturday and Sunday. To make way for the introduction of '' Sunday Brunch'' in March 2012, ''T4 Sunday'' was later moved to run on E4. ''T4 Saturday'' remained on Channel 4 and some programmes that previously appeared within the ''T4'' block, such as ''The Simpsons'', remained on Channel 4 on Sunday afternoons. It is owned by American retailer TJ Maxx, who could not trade under the initials "TJ" in the United Kingdom due to the British discount chain T. J. Hughes.
