Freestyle Skiing At The 2018 Winter Olympics – Men's Aerials
The men's aerials event in freestyle skiing at the 2018 Winter Olympics took place on 17 and 18 February 2018 at the Bogwang Phoenix Park, Pyeongchang County, Pyeongchang, South Korea. Qualification The top 25 athletes in the Olympic quota allocation list qualified, with a maximum of four athletes per National Olympic Committee (NOC) allowed. All athletes qualifying must also have placed in the top 30 FIS World Cup event or FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships during the qualification period (1 July 2016 to 21 January 2018) and also have a minimum of 80 FIS points to compete. If the host country, South Korea at the 2018 Winter Olympics did not qualify, their chosen athlete would displace the last qualified athlete, granted all qualification criterion was met. Bogwang Phoenix Park

It is located in the township of Bongpyeong-myeon, in the county of Pyeongchang. It was the venue for the Freestyle skiing at the 2018 Winter Olympics, freestyle skiing and Snowboarding at the 2018 Winter Olympics, snowboarding events in the 2018 Winter Olympics and the 2018 Winter Paralympics. The capacity of the venue is 18,000 (10,200 seated and 7,800 standing). It is one of the locations where the television drama ''Autumn in My Heart'' was shot. Maxim Vyachaslavavich Gustik (; 1 May 1988 – 9 December 2023) was a Belarusian freestyle skier. He won a bronze medal in aerials at the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships 2015 The 2015 FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships were held in Kreischberg, Austria from January 15–25, 2015. is a Japanese male artistic gymnast and freestyle skier. He has formerly competed as a gymnast and has participated at the gymnastic competitions until 2005 before switching on to take the sport of freestyle skiing in 2006. Naoya Tabara sustained a shoulder injury in 2005 when he was professional artistic gymnast which caused him to choose aerials freestyle skiing. He participated at the 2018 Winter Olympics and competed in the freestyle skiing men's aerials event. David John Morris (born 31 August 1984) is an Australian aerial/freestyle skier who competed in 3 Winter Olympic Games in 2010, 2014 and 2018. He is Australia's most successful male aerial skier, having competed across FIS World Cup, World Championships and Winter Olympic competitions. He is the first Australian male aerial skier to compete at two consecutive Olympic Games, and the first Australian medalist in the Olympic Men's Aerials. Early and personal life Morris was born in Melbourne. Maxim Alekseyevich Burov (; born 5 June 1998) is a Russian freestyle skier. A three-time World Champion, he won back-to-back titles in individual aerials, in 2019 and 2021, becoming the first Russian and the fourth male aerial skier to do that. He participated at two Winter Olympics and competed in the men's aerials by representing Olympic Athletes from Russia in 2018 and Russian Olympic Committee in 2022.
