Frederick Calvert, 6th Baron Baltimore
Frederick Calvert, 6th Baron Baltimore (6 February 1731 – 4 September 1771), styled The Hon. Frederick Calvert until 1751, was an English nobility, nobleman and last in line of the Baron Baltimore, Barons Baltimore. Although he exercised almost feudal power in the Province of Maryland, he never once set foot in the colony, and unlike his father, he took little interest in politics, treating his estates, including Maryland, largely as sources of revenue to support his extravagant, often scandalous lifestyle. In 1768 he was accused of abduction and rape by Sarah Woodcock, a noted beauty who kept a Hatmaking, milliner's shop at Tower Hill. The jury acquitted Calvert, but he left England soon afterwards, and never recovered from the public scandal that surrounded the trial. Dogged by the criticism and poor health, he contracted a fever and died in Naples at the age of 40. Frederick Crace Calvert
Frederick Crace Calvert (14 November 1819 – 24 October 1873), English chemist, was born near London. He was the son of Alfred Crace and the nephew of the noted interior decorator, Frederick Crace. From about 1836 until 1846 he lived in France, where, after a course of study at Paris, he became manager of some chemical works, later acting as assistant to Michel Eugène Chevreul. On his return to England he settled in Manchester as a consulting chemist, and was appointed honorary professor of chemistry at the Royal Manchester Institution. Devoting himself almost entirely to industrial chemistry, he gave much attention to the manufacture of coal-tar products, and particularly carbolic acid (for use in the treatment of raw sewage), for the production of which he established large works in Manchester in 1865. Besides contributing extensively to the English and French scientific journals, he published a work on ''Dyeing and Calico-Printing''. He died in Manchester. He is commemorated ...

Frederick Calvert (MP)
Frederick Calvert (9 June 1806 – 6 June 1891) was a British Whig politician. Early life and family Born 1806, Calvert was the second son of British general Harry Calvert and Caroline (née Hammersley), and the younger brother Harry Verney, Buckingham MP. He was called to the Bar at Inner Temple in 1831, and later made a Queen's Counsel. He married Lucy Caroline Herbert, daughter of Tory politician Edward Herbert and Lucy (née Graham) in 1865; they had no children. He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford and Merton College, Oxford, where he was a president of the United Debating Society.
