Franklin station is a side platformed Sacramento Regional Transit District#Light rail, Sacramento RT light rail station in Sacramento, California, United States. The station was opened on August 24, 2015, and is operated by the Sacramento Regional Transit District. It is served by the Blue Line (SacRT), Blue Line. The station is located on the north side of Cosumnes River Boulevard west of Franklin Boulevard in the South Sacramento neighborhood of Valley Hi. Franklin Square Station
Franklin Square station is an underground rapid transit station on the PATCO Speedline, operated by the Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA). It is located beneath Franklin Square, at 7th and Race streets in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. First opened on June 7, 1936, Franklin Square station has had several periods of closure and reopening due to low ridership. The station's most recent reopening occurred on April 3, 2025, marking the first time since 1979 that PATCO trains have stopped at the station. The station is the easternmost stop on the PATCO Speedline in Pennsylvania, situated just west of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, which connects Philadelphia to Camden, New Jersey. Franklin is a transfer station between the Line 2 and Line 6 of the Santiago Metro. Their namesake is the Franklin Neighborhood. The Line 2 station was opened on 31 March 1978 as the southern terminus of the inaugural section of the line, from Los Héroes. On 21 December 1978, the line was extended to Lo Ovalle. Franklin Station is a Calgary C-Train light rail station in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It serves the Northeast Line (Route 202) and opened on April 27, 1985, as part of the original route. It is located in the Southeast quadrant of Calgary. The station is located in the median of Memorial Drive, just west of the intersection with 28 Street SE. The station is 4.7 km (2.92 mi) from the City Hall Interlocking. Pedestrian bridges connect the station to either side of Memorial Drive. Stairs, escalators, as well as an elevator provide access down to the center-loading platform. The station serves the community Radisson Heights-Albert Park to the south and industrial areas to the north. 578 parking spaces are available for commuters. Franklin Street station is a former railroad and bus station in Reading, Pennsylvania. It currently is owned by Berks Area Regional Transportation Authority (BARTA) and hosts a brewpub restaurant operated by Saucony Creek Brewing Company. Built by the Reading Railroad and dedicated on February 25, 1930, Franklin Street Station later served the SEPTA diesel service extending the Manayunk/Norristown Line to Pottsville. It closed when SEPTA cancelled the diesel service in 1981. BARTA acquired the building on December 14, 2005, and converted it into a bus depot in May 2013. Franklin Park is one of two stations on Metra's Milwaukee District West Line in Franklin Park, Illinois. The station is away from Chicago Union Station, the eastern terminus of the line. In Metra's zone-based fare system, Franklin Park is in zone 2. As of 2018, Franklin Park is the 123rd busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 392 weekday boardings. Franklin Street (IRT Sixth Avenue Line)
The Franklin Street station was a station on the demolished IRT Sixth Avenue Line in Manhattan, New York City. It was located at Franklin Street and West Broadway, and it had two tracks and two side platforms. There was space for two additional tracks in the station. South of the station there are two additional tracks that served to layup trains. History The station opened on June 5, 1878 as part of a line along Trinity Place, Church Avenue, West Broadway, and Sixth Avenue between Rector Street and 58th Street. The line was built by the Gilbert Elevated Railway Company, which would later come to be known as the Metropolitan Elevated Railway Company. The station closed on December 4, 1938, with the rest of the Sixth Avenue Elevated.
