Francis Mastin Wright
Francis Mastin Wright (July 14, 1810 – January 16, 1869) was a United States Republican Party, Republican politician in the U.S. State of Ohio who was Ohio State Auditor (1856–1860). Francis Wright was born in Frederick County, Virginia, and ended up in Clark County, Ohio, where he was educated in the country schools. He was a merchant in Springfield, Ohio and later Urbana, Ohio. He was elected as a Whig for County Auditor of Champaign County, Ohio, Champaign County.#smith, Smith 1898 : 45 In 1855, as a Republican, he defeated incumbent Democrat William Duane Morgan for Ohio State Auditor,#smith, Smith 1898 : 40 but declined a second term. He returned to Urbana in 1860, and was appointed Internal Revenue Collector by President Abraham Lincoln, Lincoln. He resigned in 1867 and died at Urbana January 16, 1869. Francis Augustus Wright
Francis Augustus Wright (1 August 1835 – 1 October 1903) was a merchant sailor, gold miner, carrier and member of the Parliament of New South Wales. Early life Wright was born in London, England to Eliza . His father, also named Frances Augustus Wright, was a Captain of the Royal Navy, and the family emigrated to New South Wales in 1836. Wright went to sea as an apprentice, returning to Australia in 1852 and working in the gold fields of Victoria and New South Wales for three years. He married Alice Marcia Williams on 19 December 1864. Francis Marion Wright (August 5, 1844 – July 15, 1917) was a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Illinois and previously was a judge of the Court of Claims. Early life Born in Adams County, Ohio, Wright was the son of James and Elizabeth (Copple) Wright. He was educated in Bentonville, Ohio and at the Ohio Valley Academy in Decatur, Ohio, and his parents hoped he would study medicine and become a doctor. Military service In 1861, Wright enlisted in the Union Army for the American Civil War, becoming a private in Company I, 39th Ohio Infantry. He advanced through the ranks of corporal, sergeant, and sergeant major before receiving his commission as a second lieutenant, and served in several battles in the Western Theater of the American Civil War, including the Atlanta Campaign. Francis Wright (born 1958) is an English voice actor, puppeteer, and television presenter. He also teaches public speaking and communication skills. Early life Wright was born in St John's Wood, the son of Dr Bedřich Bělohlávek and Joan Wright, and was registered under both names. His father was a Czech bookseller working in London, while his mother was a journalist then working for the BBC as a publicity officer, and both were authors. Francis Wright JP DL (21 December 1806 – 24 February 1873), was a British industrialist and philanthropist. Early life Wright was born on 21 December 1806, at Lenton Hall, Nottingham, the son of John Wright and Elizabeth Beresford. The Wrights were a landed family, supposedly of Genoese origin, first settling in East Anglia and then in Nottinghamshire and, later, Derbyshire. Their line can be traced back to John Wright (alias Camplyon) of Stowupland, who lived in the sixteenth century. The name Camplyon is thought to have been anglicised from the Italian Camplioni. Wright's great-grandfather, Ichabod Wright (1700-1777) had set up Wright's bank, in Long Row, Nottingham, which in 1918 became part of Lloyds bank. Felix (born Francis Reuben Wright) is a British producer and DJ. He is known for his hit track " Don't You Want Me" and his underground house project "The Party Crashers". Life and career Felix was born in Chelmsford, Essex. His passion for music began early with a love of Soul & Funk from the "Street Sounds" compilations and the House Sound of Chicago. At the age of 15, after exploring a brief interest in Hip Hop, he decided to create his own music and began getting involved with DJing.
