Alva Clark Forney
A. Clark Forney (February 25, 1871''South Dakota Manual, 1925'', p. 262. – April 11, 1956) was the 14th Lieutenant Governor of South Dakota from 1925 to 1927 serving under Governor Carl Gunderson. He was a member of the Republican Party. Biography Forney was born in Holt County, Missouri, and came to South Dakota in 1889, settling at Hill City, South Dakota, Hill City. He was a veteran of the Spanish–American War. He went into the farming and stock raising business at Oelrichs, South Dakota, Oelrichs and was treasurer of Fall River County, South Dakota in 1905-1909. He was a United States Commissioner from 1907 to 1917, and served in the state senate of the South Dakota Legislature from 1921 to 1925. He was elected lieutenant governor in 1924. Notes [Baidu]

Forney Aircoupe
The ERCO Ercoupe is an American low-wing monoplane aircraft that was first flown in 1937. It was originally manufactured by the Engineering and Research Corporation (ERCO) shortly before World War II; several other manufacturers continued its production after the war. The Forney Transportation Museum is a transportation museum located in Denver, Colorado. It is named after the founder, J.D. Forney, who started Forney Industries, Inc., in Fort Collins. Collection The museum maintains a collection of approximately 800 exhibits. Its early years were focused on antique automobiles but the focus soon expanded to other modes of transport. The Forney Ridge Trail is an American hiking trail, in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park of Swain County, North Carolina. The trail descends from just beneath the highest summit in the national park, Kuwohi, along Forney Ridge and passes through Andrews Bald, at an elevation of 5,920 feet, before terminating at a junction with the Springhouse Branch Trail. Daniel Munroe Forney
Daniel Munroe Forney (May 1784October 15, 1847) was a United States Congressional Representative from North Carolina. He was born near Lincolnton, North Carolina, in May 1784, the son of Peter Forney. Forney attended the public schools and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He engaged in agricultural pursuits and served as a major in the War of 1812. He held several local offices. He was elected as a Democratic-Republican to the Fourteenth and Fifteenth Congresses and served from March 4, 1815, until his resignation in 1818. He was appointed by President James Monroe as a commissioner to treat with the Creek Indians in 1820. He served as a member of the North Carolina State senate, 1823–1826. He moved to Alabama in 1834 and settled in Lowndes County where he resumed agricultural pursuits and became interested in various business enterprises.
