Ford Falcon (AU)
The Ford Falcon (AU) is a full-size car that was produced by Ford Australia from 1998 to 2002. It was the sixth generation Ford Falcon and also included the luxury-oriented Ford Fairmont (AU) model range. The AU series replaced the EL Falcon and was built on the then-new EA169 platform, which continued to underpin Falcon models until 2010, when the BF wagon was discontinued, and Ford Territory models until 2011. The AU series was replaced by the BA series. Development and design The AU series was conceived under "Project Eagle" that began in February 1993, and gained the official codename "EA169" in October 1994. Tickford Vehicle Engineering
Tickford Vehicle Engineering (TVE) was a company responsible for numerous automotive projects and upgrades for Ford Australia between 1991 and 2002. In 1999, TVE setup Ford Tickford Experience (FTE) as a competitor to Holden Special Vehicles (HSV). In 2002, the operations changed to Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV), coinciding with Tickford's global operations being bought out by Prodrive. A cutaway, in the industrial sense, refers to the display of a manufactured product, (an engine, a pump, a regulator, etc.) where a portion of the exterior housing has been removed to reveal the internal components, (pistons, bearings, seals, etc.) and their relationship to the functionality of the product. Cutaways are typically used in product training, trade show environments, museum displays and for many additional applications. Cutaways are produced using a variety of methods by the manufacturer, by a cutaway service company, as mentioned above, or by an experienced machine shop. Mazda 929
The Mazda 929 is a full-size car which was sold by the Japanese automobile manufacturer Mazda between 1973 and 1997. Mazda used the 929 nameplate for export markets only, badge engineering its Luce model until 1991 and then transferring the name to export specification Sentia models.
