''For the Cool in You'' is the third studio album by American R&B musician and songwriter Babyface released by Epic in North America on 24 August 1993. The album reached number sixteen on the US ''Billboard'' 200 and at number two on the Top R&B Albums chart. The album spawned five singles, the lead single (and title track) " For the Cool in You" (US No. 81, R&B No. 10), " Never Keeping Secrets" (US No. 15, R&B No. 3), " And Our Feelings" (US No. 21, R&B No. 7), "Rock Bottom", and "When Can I See You" which became his biggest (and third) top-ten hit on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100, peaking at number four, and reaching number six on the Hot R&B Singles chart. Kenneth Brian Edmonds (born April 10, 1959), better known by his stage name Babyface, is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He has written and produced 26 number-one Contemporary R&B, R&B hits and won 13 Grammy Awards. He was ranked number 20 on ''NME'' 50 of The Greatest Producers Ever list. After 7 is an American R&B group founded in 1987 by brothers Melvin and Kevon Edmonds, and their friend Keith Mitchell. The Edmonds brothers are the older siblings of pop/R&B singer-songwriter and record producer Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, who named the group and helped them get a record deal with Virgin Records in 1988. ''Poetic Justice'' is a 1993 American romantic drama film written and directed by John Singleton. The film stars Janet Jackson, Tupac Shakur, Regina King, and Joe Torry. William Everett Preston (September 2, 1946 – June 6, 2006) was an American keyboardist, singer, and songwriter whose work encompassed R&B, rock, soul, funk, and gospel. Preston was a top session keyboardist in the 1960s, backing Little Richard, Sam Cooke, Ray Charles, the Everly Brothers, Reverend James Cleveland, the Beatles, and the Rolling Stones. "You Are So Beautiful" is a song credited to Billy Preston and Bruce Fisher that was first released in 1974 on Preston's ninth studio album, '' The Kids & Me''. It was also the B-side of his single "Struttin'". Later that same year, English singer Joe Cocker released a slower version of the song on his album '' I Can Stand a Little Rain''.
