Alexander Butler
Alexander Butler was a British film director who made over sixty features and short films during the 1910s and 1920s including many for G. B. Samuelson's production company. Butler directed several British films in Hollywood in 1920, where Samuelson had made an arrangement with Universal Pictures. Norman Partridge (actor)
Norman Partridge (born May 28, 1958) is an American writer of horror and mystery fiction. He has written two detective novels about retired boxer Jack Baddalach, ''Saguaro Riptide'' and ''The Ten Ounce Siesta''. He is also the author of a Crow novel, '' The Crow: Wicked Prayer'', which was adapted in 2005 into the fourth Crow movie, bearing the same name. Mr. Partridge's 2006 novel ''Dark Harvest'', published in a limited edition of 2000 autographed copies and 24 lettered edition copies by Cemetery Dance Publications, was voted one of Publishers Weekly's 100 Best Books of 2006. Alfred Sutro OBE (7 August 1863 – 11 September 1933) was an English author, dramatist and translator. In addition to a succession of successful plays of his own in the first quarter of the 20th century, Sutro made the first English translations of works by the Belgian writer Maurice Maeterlinck. Life and career Sutro was born in London, the third and youngest son of Sigismund Sutro, a medical practitioner and authority on continental spas and their cures.
