Folkert De Roos
Folkert de Roos (3 September 1920 – 12 July 2000) was a Dutch economist and Professor of Economics at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam.M.M.G. There he received his MA in 1942, and later in 1949 his PhD cum laude with a thesis entitled "De algemene banken in Nederland" (The general banks of the Netherlands). Dirk Bernard Joseph (Dick) Schouten (25 January 1923 – 3 February 2018) was a Dutch economist, and Professor of General Economics and Economic History at Tilburg University, known for his work concerning macroeconomic modelling. Biography Schouten received his PhD from Tilburg University in 1950 with a thesis entitledDe overheidsfinanciën in de volkshuishouding : een macro-economische studie over de betekenis van de openbare financiën op lange termijn voor de omvang, de verdeling en de besteding van het nationaal inkomen, supervised by M.J.H.
