Florinel Teodor Coman (; born 10 April 1998) is a Romanian professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Forward (association football)#Winger, winger for Qatar Stars League club Al-Gharafa SC, Al-Gharafa, and the Romania national football team, Romania national team. Coman began his career at FC Viitorul Constanța, Viitorul Constanța in 2015, winning a national championship in 2016–17 Liga I, his second full season with the club. In 2017, he transferred to FCSB in a deal eventually worth €3 million, representing the then-List of most expensive Romanian football transfers, highest fee paid by a Liga I side. FCSB
Fotbal Club FCSB (), formerly named and still sometimes referred to as FC Steaua București, is a Romanian professional football club based in Bucharest. It has spent its entire history in the Liga I, the top flight of the Romanian football league system. The original ''Steaua București'' football team was founded in 1947 and belonged to the Ministry of National Defence, through the namesake CSA Steaua București sports club. In 1998, the football department and its facilities were separated from the latter and taken over by a group of shareholders in a post-Ceaușescu privatisation scheme, leading to one of the shareholders acquiring full ownership five years later. The 2023–24 Liga I (also known as SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons) is the 106th season of the Liga I, the top Romanian professional league for association football clubs. The season started on 14 July 2023 and concluded on 27 May 2024. It is the ninth season to take place since the play-off/play-out format has been introduced. FC Politehnica Iași (2010), Politehnica Iași, ASC Oțelul Galați, Oțelul Galați, and FC Dinamo București, Dinamo București joined as the promoted clubs from the 2022–23 Liga II. Substitute (association Football)
In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time. Gheorghe Hagi
Gheorghe Hagi (; born 5 February 1965) is a Romanian professional football manager and former player, who is currently the owner of Liga I club Farul Constanța. Deployed as an attacking midfielder, Hagi was considered one of the best players in the world during the 1980s and '90s, and is regarded by many as the greatest Romanian footballer of all time. Fans of Turkish club Galatasaray, with whom Hagi ended his career, called him (" heCommander"), while he was known as ("The King") to Romanian supporters. Gazeta Sporturilor () is a Romanian sports website, originally founded in 1924 as a daily newspaper. Claudiu Iulian Niculescu (born 23 June 1976) is a Romanian football coach and former striker, currently in charge of Liga II club CSM Slatina. The 2006–07 Liga I was the eighty-ninth season of Liga I, the top-level association football, football league of Romania. Season began on 28 July 2006 and ended on 23 May 2007. Teams Eighteen teams played in the 2006–07 season. Four teams were from Moldova (Romanian region), Moldova, four clubs from Transylvania, one from Northern Dobruja, Dobruja and nine from Wallachia four of them coming from the country's capital city Bucharest. Pandurii Târgu Jiu had been relegated at the end of the 2005-06 Divizia A, previous season but they re-entered Liga I at the expense of Sportul Studenţesc which has been relegated to Liga II due to financial problems. Digi Sport is a Romanian sports television that was launched on 23 July 2009, available only on the Digi TV platform.
