Darold Durard Brown Ferguson Jr. (born October 20, 1988), known professionally as FERG (previously A$AP Ferg ( /ˈeɪsæp/ ''AY-sap'')), is an American rapper from Harlem, New York City. He is a lead member of the hip hop collective ASAP Mob, from which he adopted his moniker and recording contract with Polo Grounds and RCA Records—the same labels that helped launch ASAP Worldwide—in January 2013. Two years prior, the group's cohorts, ASAP Rocky and the late ASAP Yams, effectively negotiated their own contract with the label. VELD Music Festival (commonly referred to as VELD) is the largest annual electronic dance music festival in Canada, held at Downsview Park in Toronto, Ontario. Since its inception in 2012, the festival has had a number of notable acts, including deadmau5, Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, Steve Aoki, Zedd, Illenium, and Tiesto. The music festival has three concert stages: the Main Stage, the Bass Stage (formally known as the Rémy Martin Stage), and the Sirkus Stage. Traplord is a New York City-based street fashion clothing and lifestyle brand that started in late 2012 by A$AP Mob member, ASAP Ferg. The clothing company is an extension of what started as a merchandise business for products to be sold on tour, but developed into a full-fledged brand based on A$AP Ferg's history in design and fashion. History ASAP Ferg's father, Darold Ferguson, owned a Harlem boutique and printed shirts and logos for record labels such as Bad Boy Records.
