''Flirting With Fate'' is a 2012 novel conceived by Pinaki Chaudhuri, written and edited by Indian author and Freelance Editor Writer Preeti Singh. The book was released on Saturday 14 July 2012 by Writer Vivek Atray at CII in Chandigarh. Preeti was fond of writing since the age of nine. An article in the ''Times of India'' stated that Preetis debut book is crime thriller which took about 5 years to complete it and is dedicated to her Mother & Kiran Bedi. The story is a journey of a boy from childhood to youth, who takes the easy path of crime, bloodshed, theft, rape, lies and which makes him realise that one has to reap what one sows. Preeti Singh (born 26 October 1971) is an Indian author based at Chandigarh. Singh has been working as a professional writer since last 21 years before authoring her four best-selling novels. Her debut novel - '' Flirting With Fate'' was published by Mahaveer Publishers, India in 2012, followed by ''Crossroads'', which was published by Authors Press, India, in 2014. Kiran Bedi
Kiran Bedi (born 9 June 1949) is an Indian social activist, former-tennis player who became the first woman in India to join the officer ranks of the Indian Police Service (IPS) in 1972 and was the 24th Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry from 28 May 2016 to 16 February 2021.
