''Fishia nigrescens'' is a moth in the family Noctuidae. It is found in central and eastern Oregon, Nevada, eastern California and Arizona., 2013: Five new species and three new subspecies of Erebidae and Noctuidae (Insecta, Lepidoptera) from Northwestern North America, with notes on Chytolita Grote (Erebidae) and Hydraecia Guenée (Noctuidae). The Noctuidae, commonly known as owlet moths, cutworms or armyworms, are a family (biology), family of moths.
