"Find the Time" is a song by the British pop music group Five Star. The song was written by Nick Trevisick and Paul Gurvitz, who had written the single "R.S.V.P. (Five Star song), R.S.V.P." for the band the previous year. It was the second single released from their second album, ''Silk & Steel (Five Star album), Silk & Steel'', and peaked at number seven on the UK Singles Chart in August 1986. Five Star (also styled as 5 Star) were a British Pop music, pop group, formed in 1983 and comprising siblings Stedman Pearson, Stedman, Lorraine, Denise Pearson, Denise, Doris, and Delroy Pearson. From 1985 to 1988, Five Star had four top-20 albums and 15 top-40 singles in the UK, including the top-10 hits "System Addict" (1986), "Can't Wait Another Minute" (1986), "Find the Time" (1986), "Rain or Shine (song), Rain or Shine" (1986), "Stay Out of My Life" (1987) and "The Slightest Touch" (1987). They won the 1987 Brit Award for Best British Group. ''Silk & Steel'' is the second studio album by British pop group Five Star, released on 18 August 1986. The album was the group's biggest seller, reaching number one in the UK. It was also successful in France, Germany, Austria, Netherlands and Switzerland. In the United States, it was less successful than their first album, ''Luxury of Life'', peaking at number 80 on the ''Billboard'' 200.
