Fighting (Tank Album)
''Fighting!'' () is Taiwanese Mandopop artist Tank's debut Mandarin solo studio album. It was released on 24 February 2006 by HIM International Music with a bonus VCD containing two music videos. A second edition ''Fighting! Celebration Edition'' (生存之道 冠軍慶功加值版) was released on 31 March 2006 with three addition kala tracks and a bonus VCD containing six music videos. The album features the opening theme song, "終極一班" (Extreme Class) and ending theme song, "給我你的愛" (Give Me Your Love) of Taiwanese drama KO One, starring Aaron Yan, Calvin Chen, and Jiro Wang of Taiwanese boy band, Fahrenheit and Danson Tang. The music video of "我們小時候" (When We Were Young) features Taiwanese singer Amber Kuo. The track "給我你的愛" (Give Me Your Love) was nominated for ''Top 10 Gold Songs'' at the Hong Kong TVB8 Awards, presented by television station TVB8, in 2006. Tank (Taiwanese Singer)
Lü Jianzhong 呂建中 (born 6 February 1982), better known by his stage name Tank, is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter. He is currently signed to HIM International Music. His debut album, ''Fighting'' (; ''Fighting, The Law of Surviving'') was released on 23 February 2006. His latest album, ''The 3rd Round'', was released on 31 May 2009. Biography Lü was born in Taitung, Taiwan. He is a native Taiwanese: his father is from the Ami people, while his mother is Puyuma. Tank married his girlfriend of two years, MerMer, on 28 September 2012. The wedding was originally planned for the end of 2011 but was postponed due to the unexpected arrival of their daughter, Hua Hua, who was born in May 2012. Jiro Wang (; born 24 August 1981) is a Taiwanese singer and actor, who started his career as a model. Wang is a member of Taiwanese Mandopop vocal quartet boy band Fahrenheit. Life Jiro Wang was born August 24, 1981, in Taiwan. He graduated from Fu Shin Trade and Arts College with a degree in Advertising Design. Wang's father died when he was 18, leaving him and his mother stranded with the family debt. The Three Kingdoms () from 220 to 280 AD was the tripartite division of China among the dynastic states of Cao Wei, Shu Han, and Eastern Wu. Boy Band
A boy band is loosely defined as a vocal group consisting of young male singers, usually in their teenage years or in their twenties at the time of formation. Generally, boy bands perform love songs marketed towards girls and young women. Many boy bands dance as well as sing, usually giving highly choreographed performances. Mandopop
Mandopop or Mandapop refers to Mandarin popular music. The genre has its origin in the jazz-influenced popular music of 1930s Shanghai known as Shidaiqu; with later influences coming from Japanese enka, Hong Kong's Cantopop, Taiwan's Hokkien pop, and in particular the Campus Song folk movement of the 1970s. 'Mandopop' may be used as a general term to describe popular songs performed in Mandarin.
