Albania was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna, Austria, with the song "I'm Alive (Elhaida Dani song), I'm Alive" performed by Elhaida Dani. Dani was chosen through the national selection competition, , organised by (RTSH) in December 2014. Dani emerged as the winner of contest with the song "Diell"; however the song withdrawn as the Albanian entry at the request of one of the song's songwriters and replaced with "I'm Alive". Prior to the 2015 contest, Albania had participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 11 times since its first entry in . "I'm Alive" was promoted by a music video and live performances in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom in the lead up to the contest. Albania was drawn to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015#Semi-final 1, first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest, which took place on 19 May 2015. RTSH
Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (; ; formerly TVSH , now mostly referred to as RTSH ) is the national public broadcasting company of Albania. Founded in 1938, it operates several radio and television channels, over a domestic transmitter network as well as satellite. The international television service via satellite RTSH Sat (former ''TVSH Sat'') was launched in 1993 and is aimed at Albanian-speaking communities in Kosovo, Serbia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and northern Greece, plus the Albanian diaspora in the rest of Europe. RTSH is funded by a combination of commercial advertising, an annual licence fee of US$10.00 and grant-in-aid from the Albanian government. David Tukiçi
David Tukiçi () was born in 1956 in Shkodër, Albania. Also known as David Tukiqi, he is an Albanian composer, conductor and singer. He also holds Italian citizenship. He was a participant of Festivali i Këngës a number of times, winning aged 13 the 1969 edition with the song "Dhuratë për ditëlindje". Tukiçi also participated in the 1990 edition alongside Nertila Koka, with the song "Sagapo, të dua", which he also composed. Another composition of his "Dy gëzime në një ditë", also sung by Nertila Koka, would win the 1986 edition of the competition. Other compositions include "Mirësevjen ditë e re" sung by Afërdita Laçi and "Artistë në jetë" sung by Lindita Theodhori. Alida Hisku
Alida Hisku (born 20 June 1957) is an Albanian singer who was especially popular in the 1970s. Since 1990, she has lived in Germany. Life Hisku was born on 20 June 1957 in Tirana, then the capital of the Communist People's Republic of Albania. As the daughter of the opera singer Fiqrete Hisku, she began singing at a very young age, like her older sister and younger brother. As a child, Alida Hisku won several singing competitions. Bledar Sejko
Bledar Sejko (born February 19, 1971) is an Albanian guitarist, composer, and singer who represented Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö with his song " Identitet", which he performed with Adrian Lulgjuraj. According to Sejko, the song includes combined motives from Northern Albania and Chameria.
