Ferdinand I (2 June 1424 – 25 January 1494), also known as Ferrante, was king of Naples from 1458 to 1494. Jack Anthony "Blackjack" Ferrante (March 9, 1916 – November 23, 2006) was an American football end in the National Football League (NFL) who played for the Philadelphia Eagles in 1941 and from 1944 to 1950. Born in Camden, New Jersey, Ferrante's family moved to South Philadelphia when he was six, and later to West Philadelphia; he dropped out of high school in his sophomore year and began working in local supermarkets.
