Feniks Island
Feniks Island (, ) is the 230 m long in west–east direction and 170 m wide in south–north direction rocky island lying off Spert Island on the southwest side of Trinity Island in the Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica. It is “named after the ocean fishing trawler ''Feniks'' of the Bulgarian company Ocean Fisheries – Burgas whose ships operated in the waters of South Georgia Island, South Georgia, Kerguelen Islands, Kerguelen, the South Orkney Islands, South Shetland Islands and Antarctic Peninsula from 1970 to the early 1990s. Kasia Cerekwicka
Kasia Cerekwicka (born Katarzyna Cerekwicka, 17 March 1980 in Koszalin, Poland) is a Polish pop singer. She has been singing since she was a little girl. In 1997, at the age of 17, she won the popular Polish show ''Szansa na sukces'' ("Chance for Success"). Career She has recorded four albums. The first was ''Mozaika'' from 2000. In 2007 Kasia admitted she does not like ''Mozaika'' and is not surprised that it wasn't popular in Poland. Her next album was ''Feniks'' ("Fenix"). In 2006 participated with Her song "Na kolana" ("On your Knees") in the Piosenka dla Europy 2006 to the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in which she ended 1st in a draw with Ich Troje but according to rules the group was sent to represent Poland due to higher televoting score and they ended 11th in the semi-final, but for Kasia, her song became a hit of the year in Poland and some other parts of Europe. Colonia is a Croatian dance music duo from Vinkovci, Croatia. The band has released thirteen albums and over 35 singles to date with various songs and albums gaining platinum status. Feniks (Aria Album)
Aria () is a Russian heavy metal band that was formed in 1985 in Moscow. Although it was not the first Soviet band to play heavy music, Aria was the first to break through to mainstream media and commercial success. According to several public polls, Aria ranks among top 10 most popular Russian rock bands. Their sound resembled that of NWOBHM bands, for which they were dubbed the "Russian Iron Maiden" in the media. The band has most of its lyrics written by professional poets, Margarita Pushkina and Alexander Yelin commonly, and not by its band members. Since the band was founded, several of its founder members have gone on to form bands of their own resulting in Aria becoming the root of the so-called "Aria Family". Yantar-2K
Yantar-2K ( meaning amber) was a type of Soviet reconnaissance satellite which supplemented and eventually replaced the Zenit spacecraft. It was the first satellite of the Yantar series and was managed by the Soviet military intelligence agency, the GRU. These satellites were in orbit for 30 days and photographed sites of interest using a film camera. Yantar-2K was proposed in 1967 and had its first test launch in May 1974. It was in military service from 1978 to 1983 and was given the name Feniks (), meaning phoenix. Equipment Yantar differed from Zenit in that it had to stay in orbit for a month unlike Zenit's 8–14 days. It also had 2 film return capsules, something it had in common with the US KH-7 GAMBIT reconnaissance satellite.
