"Feelin'" is the final single by the La's from their debut album, released on 4 February 1991. Music video The music video contains the same live performance footage as the " Timeless Melody" video clip. The video ends with the camera freezing its scope on the band. The La's
The La's were an English rock band from Liverpool, originally active from 1983 until 1992. Fronted by singer, songwriter and guitarist Lee Mavers, the group are best known for their hit single " There She Goes". The band was formed by Mike Badger in 1983 and Mavers joined the next year, although for most of the group's history, the frequently changing line-up revolved around the core duo of Lee Mavers (vocals, guitar) and John Power (bass, backing vocals) along with numerous other guitarists and drummers including Paul Hemmings, John "Timmo" Timson, Peter "Cammy" Cammell, Iain Templeton, John "Boo" Byrne, Chris Sharrock, Barry Sutton and Neil Mavers. ''The La's'' is the only studio album by English rock band the La's, released on 1 October 1990 by Go! Discs. It included " There She Goes", the group's biggest hit, and " Timeless Melody". A deluxe edition of ''The La's'' was released on 7 April 2008. In 2013, ''NME'' ranked ''The La's'' at number 153 on its list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. Release and reception ''The La's'' was released in 1990 on Go! Discs in the United Kingdom and in 1991 on London Records in the United States. The album was praised by critics and embraced by fans. It was the result of nearly three years in the studio with a string of acclaimed producers. Each attempted to capture the sound sought by Lee Mavers, the lead singer and principal songwriter of the band. However, due to Mavers' exacting expectations, the sound eluded each of the producers, and the album eventually released was immediately disowned by the band. "There She Goes" is a song by English rock band the La's, written by the band's frontman, Lee Mavers. The song reached number 13 on the UK Singles Chart when it was re-issued in 1990. In May 2007, ''NME'' magazine placed the song at number 45 in its list of the 50 Greatest Indie Anthems Ever. Predating Britpop by four years, the band's self-titled album was named one of the 40 greatest one-album wonders by ''Rolling Stone'', with the magazine stating, "Whether about heroin or just unrequited love, the La's single 'There She Goes' off their self-titled debut has endured as a founding piece of Britpop's foundation." It was listed at number 22 on ''NME''s "500 Greatest Songs of All Time". Lyrics and meaning The song contains no verses, only a single chorus repeated four times and a bridge. John Leckie
John William Leckie (born 23 October 1949) is an English record producer and recording engineer. Mike Hedges (born 1953) is a British audio producer/engineer best known for his work with The Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and Manic Street Preachers.
