''Feeding the Wolves'' is the fifth studio album by American alternative metal band 10 Years, and their third major label release. It debuted at No. 17 on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart, with 19,000 units sold. Background The album was produced by Grammy-nominated producer Howard Benson and mixed by Chris Lord-Alge. The band has mentioned this will be their heaviest material to date and "very similar to some of their early songs." The 10-track album was the Tennessee band's first since founding guitarist Matt Wantland left the group in 2009. Throughout the first half of 2010, the band went back and forth between putting on live shows and working on the album in the studio. During this time, they debuted a few new songs live, including "Dead in the Water", "Now is the Time", and the new album's first single " Shoot It Out". 10 Years (band)
10 Years is an American alternative metal band formed in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1999. The band consists of lead vocalist Jesse Hasek, lead guitarist Brian Vodinh, rhythm guitarist Matt Wantland, and bassist Chad Grennor. The group has gone through multiple line-up changes since their inception, with Vodinh and Wantland being the only remaining founding members. To date, they have released 10 studio albums, their most recent being Deconstructed in 2022. Chris Lord-Alge
Chris Lord-Alge is an American mix engineer. He is the brother of both Tom Lord-Alge and Jeff Lord-Alge, both of whom are also audio engineers. Chris and Tom are known for their abundant use of dynamic range compression for molding mixes that play well on small loudspeaker and FM broadcasting. Lord-Alge frequently collaborates with Howard Benson, who has produced the plurality of his mix discography. Career Lord-Alge worked at Unique Recording Studios in New York City in the 1980s. ''Killing All That Holds You'' is the second studio album by American alternative metal band 10 Years, released in 2004 with new vocalist Jesse Hasek. Although it was not widely distributed, the band sold it at their live shows, and an autographed copy was available on their webstore. The album had been abbreviated as "K.A.T.H.Y". This, along with the band's first album '' Into the Half Moon'', has not been released on Spotify. However, both ''Killing All That Hold You'' and ''Into the Half Moon'' can be found on YouTube.
