''Fearless'' is the debut album of American singer-songwriter Keri Noble. It was released under Manhattan Records on March 9, 2004. Critical reception Alex Henderson of AllMusic concludes his review with, "''Fearless'' is not an album that goes out of its way to push the smile button; at times, Noble's observations can be dark and melancholy. But if Fearless is less than optimistic on the whole, it is also impressively honest and sincere – emotionally, Noble really lays it on the line, and she shows a great deal of promise on this superb debut." Keri Noble
Keri Noble (born 1975) is an American singer-songwriter born in Fort Worth, Texas and raised in Detroit. Her father was a Baptist minister, and Noble sang in church as a child. She attended a local Assembly of God school for Junior High and high school in Michigan. She began playing her own music in the Detroit area. After meeting Billy McLaughlin, she moved to Minneapolis, and in 2003 she signed with major label EMI. She has been compared to Norah Jones. In 2008 Noble signed with Telarc Records in the United States and released a full-length album (self titled) in February 2009. Manhattan Records is an American record label, owned by Universal Music Group and operates as a branch of Interscope Capitol Labels Group. Company history Manhattan Records was formed in 1984 by Bruce Lundvall and was later renamed EMI Manhattan Records after absorbing the EMI America Records imprint. EMI Manhattan was used to reissue back catalogue titles from Capitol Records and other EMI-owned labels such as United Artists Records and Liberty Records. It also distributed new albums from Gamble and Huff's Philadelphia International Records during the later half of the 1980s, after a 15-year stint with CBS Records.
