Fearless (Crystal Lewis Album)
''Fearless'' is the 9th studio solo album by Contemporary Christian singer Crystal Lewis. The album was nominated for a Grammy in 2001. Lewis was previously nominated for her contribution to the Kirk Franklin song "Lean On Me" in 1998. ''Fearless'' takes a decidedly more mainstream approach to the artists sound, incorporating elements of both electronica and R&B in many of the songs. The album includes the Kirk Franklin-penned "I Still Believe" which previously made its first appearance on a ''Touched by an Angel'' Christmas soundtrack album. Most of ''Fearless'' features drumwork by Vinnie Colaiuta. The ballad "Trust Me" features background vocals from R&B singer Rahsaan Patterson. Christian rappers T-Bone and J-Raw (of Priesthood) appear on the song "What a Fool I've Been". The song "Only Fools" is a newer version from the original one from the album ''Remember''. Crystal Lynn Lewis (born September 11, 1969) is an American contemporary Christian and jazz singer and songwriter. Lewis has been nominated for several Grammy Awards, and has won multiple GMA Dove Awards. Additionally, she has released numerous CCM chart-topping hits. Lewis reached a commercial peak with her ''Billboard'' Top 5 albums: "Let Love In" (1990), "Beauty for Ashes" (1996), "Gold" (1998) and the Grammy-nominated '' Fearless'' (2000), which inspired young future superstars like Katy Perry and Tori Kelly. Rahsaan Patterson (born January 11, 1974) is an American singer and actor, best known for portraying "The Kid" on the 1980s television show ''Kids Incorporated.'' Chris Lord-Alge is an American mix engineer. He is the brother of both Tom Lord-Alge and Jeff Lord-Alge, both of whom are also audio engineers. Chris and Tom are known for their abundant use of dynamic range compression for molding mixes that play well on small loudspeaker and FM broadcasting. Nathan Harrell East (born December 8, 1955) is an American jazz, R&B, and rock bass guitarist and vocalist. With more than 2,000 recordings, East is one of the most recorded bass players in the history of music. Tim Pierce (born 1958 in Albuquerque) is an American session guitarist. He has worked for artists such as Joe Cocker, Crowded House, Goo Goo Dolls, Michael Jackson, Beth Hart, Roger Waters, Alice Cooper, Johnny Hallyday, Phil Collins, and the Cheetah Girls. Pierce's parents were not musicians, although, unbeknownst to Pierce, his father used to play the trumpet in his youth. Jyro Xhan
Jyro Xhan is the stage/pen name of Filipino American musician GD La Villa. He lives in California. He is a singer, songwriter, producer, guitarist and keyboard player. He has been in several bands such as Jyradelix, Cush, Juggernautz, but most notably Mortal and Fold Zandura. He was the main songwriter and lead singer for both bands. He first used his pen name in 1988 on a demo tape but spelled it "Gyro" until the release of ''Fathom'' where it became Jyro. Rene Francisco Sotomayor, better known by the stage name T-Bone, is a Christian rapper. His father was Nicaraguan and his mother is Salvadoran. His name came from being called 'Bones' as a youngster because he was very skinny. The 'T' was "added to give the name a little slang edge."
