Hindi Language
Modern Standard Hindi (, ), commonly referred to as Hindi, is the standardised variety of the Hindustani language written in the Devanagari script. It is an official language of the Government of India, alongside English, and is the ''lingua franca'' of North India. Hindi is considered a Sanskritised register of Hindustani. Hindustani itself developed from Old Hindi and was spoken in Delhi and neighbouring areas. It incorporated a significant number of Persian loanwords. Fauji Foods Limited ( ) is a Pakistani food company which is a subsidiary of Fauji Fertilizer Company. It is based in Lahore, Pakistan. Fauji Foods is known for its dairy products and brands such as ''Nurpur'', and ''Dostea''. It is listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange. History Fauji Foods was established in 1966 as part of Noon Group by Pakistani political family Noon family. It was listed on the Karachi Stock Exchange in 1970. The shares of the company were held by Pakistani politician Malik Adnan Hayat Noon and Salman Hayat Noon with 48.9 percent and 25.5 percent respectively until 2015. Fauja Singh () is a British Sikh and retired marathon runner of Punjabi Indian descent. He has beaten a number of world records in multiple age brackets, but none of his times have been ratified as records. His personal best time for the London Marathon (2003) is 6 hours 2 minutes, and his marathon best, claimed for the 90-plus age bracket, is 5 hours 40 minutes at the alleged age of 92, at the 2003 Toronto Waterfront Marathon. Faujdar
Faujdar under the Mughals was an office that combined the functions of a military commander along with judicial and land revenue functions. The term faujdar contained pre-Mughal origins. During those times, the term referred to a military officer but did not refer to a specific rank. With the administrative reforms of Mughal emperor Akbar, this rank was systemised. It constituted an independent administrative unit and its territorial limits varied from place to place and from time to time. A faujadari comprised a number of thanas or military outposts. At each of these the number of swears were stationed under a thanadar. Faujdari carried with it a fixed number of sawars and it was up to the faujdar to station soldiers in various thanas under him.
