A () is a complex form of Mirage#Superior mirage, superior mirage visible in a narrow band right above the horizon. The term ''Fata Morgana'' is the Italian translation of "Morgan the Fairy" (Morgan le Fay of Arthurian legend). These mirages are often seen in the Italian Strait of Messina, and were described as fairy castles in the air or false land conjured by her magic. Fata Morgana mirages significantly distort the object or objects on which they are based, often such that the object is completely unrecognizable. A Fata Morgana may be seen at sea or on land, in polar regions, or in deserts. It may involve almost any kind of distant object, including boats, islands, and the coastline. Omer Faruk Tekbilek
Omer Faruk Tekbilek (, born 1951) is a Turkish musician and composer, who plays a wide range of wind, string, percussion and electronic instruments. He has developed a style that builds on traditional Sufi music, but includes inspiration from ambient electronic musicians, most notably Brian Keane. He is best known for his performances with the flute-like ney, but also plays the piccolo-like kaval, and the double-reed zurna. Among stringed instruments, he plays the oud and the bağlama. ''Tsunami Sea'' is the second studio album by the Canadian heavy metal band Spiritbox. It was released on March 7, 2025, through Pale Chord and Rise Records. After releasing two extended plays in 2022 and 2023, it is the full-length follow-up to the highly successful '' Eternal Blue'' (2021). Background After production issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic delayed its release for 17 months, the band's debut album, '' Eternal Blue'', was released in September 2021 to overwhelming success. Mariza Koch (; born 14 March 1944) is a Greek folk music singer who has recorded many albums since starting her career in 1971. On the wider stage she is best remembered for representing her homeland at the Eurovision Song Contest 1976 with the song " Panagia mou, panagia mou". Early life Mariza Koch was born in Athens in 1944 but lived in her mother's hometown in Santorini from a young age. Her father was German. Career Koch began her musical career in 1971 with an album titled ''Arabas''. It consisted of a collection of traditional Greek folk songs blended with unusual beats from traditional and modern electronic instrumental sounds. ''Desert Wind'' is an album by the Israeli singer Ofra Haza, released in 1989. Popular in Israel, Haza was unknown in the rest of the world until the previous year, when the song "Im Nin'Alu" and the album ''Shaday'' were released. ''Desert Wind'' was therefore more oriented toward the international market. The main language of the album is English, however Haza also sings in Arabic, Hebrew, and the ancient language of Aramaic. The album includes traditional folk Yemenite songs. The sound is a mainstream form of dance music with elements of synthpop and, on track 8, an influence of house music. The album ends with "Kaddish," a Jewish prayer that, as Haza writes, is meant to hold all the world's sorrows on the wings of an angel.
