Fast Track (British TV Programme)
Fast Track is a 30-minute travel news TV show which was broadcast on BBC World News. Individual segments were also broadcast on BBC News Channel. Presenters The programme was presented originally by Gwenan Edwards, then Rajan Datar and Fiona Foster. There were also regular segments including Widget of the Week, Events and the Best of the Web. Fiona Foster
Fiona Foster is a British television presenter and journalist who has also spent several years working in the United States. She was the main presenter on the BBC World travel programme ''Fast Track (British TV series), Fast Track''. Early life Foster graduated from Durham University with a degree in Russian and French in 1983. Career Foster worked at BBC Radio Oxford in 1985. She also worked as a waitress and an announcer for Greyhound. In 1992, she co-presented emergency response programme "999", where she travelled with a camcorder on the frontline, capturing events and rescues as they unfolded. Foster was one of the launch presenters of London News Network's ''London Tonight'' programme in 1993 together with Alastair Stewart, having previously worked as a financial presenter on the ''Breakfast Business'' segment of ''Breakfast News, BBC Breakfast News''. BBC World News

Simon Calder
Simon Peter Richie Calder (born 25 December 1955) is a freelance English travel journalist and broadcaster. He works for various news and travel publications as well as being travel correspondent for ''The Independent''. Biography In 1962, Calder joined the Woodcraft Folk and travelled with the group to the Lake District. That same year, after the USSR sent nuclear warheads to Cuba, Calder's parents decided that with Gatwick Airport only two miles away they were in the line of a potential Soviet target. He attended Thomas Bennett School in Crawley. Calder's first job was a cleaner for British Airways at Gatwick and later as a security guard.
