Faora is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly in association with Superman. The character was created by Cary Bates and Curt Swan, and first appeared in ''Action Comics'' #471 (May 1977). Most commonly, Faora is an ally and sometimes the wife or lover of Superman's Kryptonian nemesis General Zod. Antje Traue
Antje Traue (; born 18 January 1981) is a German actress. She started performing in plays as a sixteen-year-old in 1997, made her first screen appearance in the 2000 German film ''Verlorene Kinder'', and appeared in her first English-language role for the 2009 film ''Pandorum''. Internationally, she is known for her portrayal of the villain Faora-Ul in the DC Extended Universe films '' Man of Steel'' (2013) and ''The Flash'' (2023), as well as Agnes Nielsen in the German Netflix series ''Dark''. General Zod is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly as an List of Superman enemies, adversary of the superhero Superman. A pocket universe or bubble universe, also called pocket dimension, is a concept in inflationary theory, proposed by Alan Guth. Description It defines a realm like the one that contains the observable universe as only one of many inflationary zones. Astrophysicist Jean-Luc Lehners, of the Princeton Center for Theoretical Science, has argued that an inflationary universe does produce pockets.
