This film is based on the director's best-selling 1990 novel, which was translated into almost two dozen languages. Plot Alexandre (Vincent Perez) feels disillusioned with his fiancée, Laure (Marine Delterme), whose idea of romance is a pair of slippers for Valentine's Day. Their once passionate relationship has settled into monotony. Mose Se Sengo ("Fan Fan") (16 October 1945 – 3 May 2019) was a guitarist, composer and band-leader from the Democratic Republic of Congo. He was one of the pioneers of Congolese Soukous. Background Mose Se Sengo, was born in present-day Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, on 16 October 1945. He began to play the guitar at boarding school in Kinanga. José-Karl Pierre-Fanfan (born 26 July 1975) is a French former professional footballer who played as a centre-back. Career A central defender, Pierre-Fanfan was born in Saint-Pol-sur-Mer and began his career at USL Dunkerque, where he played for four seasons before earning a move to RC Lens. In his first season at Lens he helped them to the French title and played a key role in the clubs run to the UEFA Cup semi-final in 2000. He joined AS Monaco in 2001, then moved to Paris Saint-Germain in 2004, where he played in the 2004–05 UEFA Champions League campaign. F. Burge Griswold (, Burge; after first marriage, Smith; after second marriage, Griswold; pen names, F. Burge Smith, Mrs. S. B. Virginia Lee Corbin ( – June 4, 1942) was an American silent film actress. Early years Corbin was born Laverne Virginia Corbin in Prescott, Arizona to Leon Ernest Corbin and Virginia Frances (Cox) Corbin, and she had a sister, Ruth Emilie (Corbin) Miehle De Vries Lipari. Career Corbin began her career as a child actress in 1916, when she was billed as Baby Virginia Corbin. When she was six years old, she starred in fairy-tale films made by the William Fox Company. The success of ''Jack and the Beanstalk'' (1917) was such that Fox signed Corbin to a five-year contract. In addition to her salary, the contract specified that the company would provide instruction for her education. She went on to become a youthful flapper in the 1920s.
