FLAvour Of The Weak
'' LAour of the Weak'' is the ninth full-length studio album by industrial music group Front Line Assembly, released in November 1997 by Off Beat. Background '' LAour of the Weak'' is the first album of the band to feature Chris Peterson. Peterson had already toured with Front Line Assembly for ''Caustic Grip'' and '' Tactical Neural Implant'' but had never been part of the creative process. He also had teamed up with Rhys Fulber in the band Will before Fulber became official member of Front Line Assembly. After Fulber's departure, band leader Bill Leeb asked Peterson to join Front Line Assembly. Front Line Assembly
Front Line Assembly (FLA) is a Canadian electro-industrial band formed by Bill Leeb in 1986 in music, 1986 after leaving Skinny Puppy. FLA has developed its own sound incorporating elements of electronic body music and electro-industrial. The band's membership has rotated through the years, including Michael Balch, Rhys Fulber, and Chris Peterson (producer), Chris Peterson, all of whom are associated with several other acts. Since their inception, the group have produced over a dozen studio albums and EPs, several of which have charted on ''Billboard (magazine), Billboards Top Dance/Electronic Album chart. Eric Lynn Wright (September 7, 1964 – March 26, 1995), known professionally as Eazy-E, was an American rapper who propelled West Coast rap and gangsta rap by leading the group N.W.A and its label, Ruthless Records. Lo-fi (also typeset as lofi or low-fi; short for low fidelity) is a music or production quality in which elements usually regarded as imperfections in the context of a recording or performance are present, sometimes as a deliberate stylistic choice. ''Re-Wind'' is a remix double album by Vancouver industrial band Front Line Assembly, released in 1998. All tracks were originally recorded for the band's previous studio album '' LAour of the Weak'' (some as b-sides). The band's longtime mixer, Greg Reely, had been absent on the original album and was brought back in on ''Re-Wind''; therefore, disc one sees the band remixing itself with Reely's help. Disc two presents remixes by other artists. Release The track "Predator (Final Mix by Collide)" is featured on the soundtrack album from the 2006 thriller '' The Covenant''. According to Collide, the original name of the remix is "Radioactive Mix". On account of oversight at the label the name "Final Mix" appeared on the CD. In 2016, Canadian label Artoffact reissued the album on vinyl. Rhys Fulber
Nowell Rhys Fulber (born October 10, 1970) is a Canadian electronic musician and producer. He is a member of Front Line Assembly and Delerium, along with Bill Leeb. He also records under his own name and under the name Conjure One. Biography Fulber was born in Vancouver, British Columbia on October 10, 1970. His father, a musician, was born in Germany and his mother was from Great Britain. His father introduced him to the music of Led Zeppelin and Kraftwerk; they both attended a Kraftwerk concert in 1975. Fulber became interested in music and started drumming on his father's instruments at a very early age. Along with Kraftwerk, Fulber's electronic influences included Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD), Jean-Michel Jarre, SPK (band), SPK, and Pete Shelley's ''Homosapien (album), Homosapien'' (1981). ''Tactical Neural Implant'' is the sixth full-length studio album by electro-industrial artists Front Line Assembly. Third Mind Records originally released it in 1992 on both compact-disc and LP formats. The album has also been issued by Roadrunner in a two-disc set that includes the ''Millennium'' album. The album contains what some reviewers regard as some of Front Line Assembly's best songs, including the singles "The Blade" and "Mindphaser". The album still receives heavy play in industrial and electronic music dance clubs and is considered "a classic among clubgoers, DJs, and musicians even now." Caustic Grip
''Caustic Grip'' is the fifth full-length studio album by Front Line Assembly, originally released on Third Mind Records in Europe and on Wax Trax! Records in the United States in 1990. Background The album was the first without co-founding member Michael Balch after Rhys Fulber became a full-time member of the band. Originally intended to record the successor to '' Gashed Senses & Crossfire'' together with Leeb, Balch took on tour obligations for Ministry and Revolting Cocks. Leeb decided not to wait and started working with Fulber. Fulber had already worked with Leeb on the ''Total Terror'' demo and taken part in the ''Gashed Senses & Crossfire'' tour. ''Caustic Grip'' also marked the beginning of the long-standing collaboration with Canadian record producer Greg Reely who assumed mixing duties on the album.
