FIBA Order Of Merit
FIBA Order of Merit is an international basketball award that is awarded by FIBA, the international basketball federation. The award is given to individuals that have made very significant individual contributions to furthering the sport of basketball. The award was first established in July 1994. Basketball
Basketball is a team sport in which two teams, most commonly of five players each, opposing one another on a rectangular Basketball court, court, compete with the primary objective of #Shooting, shooting a basketball (ball), basketball (approximately in diameter) through the defender's Basket (basketball), hoop (a basket in diameter mounted high to a Backboard (basketball), backboard at each end of the court), while preventing the opposing team from shooting through their own hoop. Marian Kozłowski (basketball)
Marian Kozłowski (10 December 1927 in Warsaw, Poland – 15 August 2004 in Warsaw, Poland) was a Polish basketball administrator. He was a journalist, working as a deputy editor of the ''Express Wieczorny'' newspaper for many years. He was the president of the Polski Zwiazek Koszykówki, Polish Basketball Federation in 1957–1969 and 1980–1984 and the president of the Standing Conference of Europe (current FIBA Europe) in 1982–1990. He also served as vice president of International Basketball Federation, FIBA. In 1996, he was awarded the FIBA Order of Merit. Yoon Duk-joo
Yoon Duk-joo (June 23, 1921, in Korea – July 8, 2005, in South Korea) was a South Korean basketball administrator. She served as the director of the Korea Basketball Association (1952–1954), president of the Women's Committee of the Asian Basketball Confederation (current FIBA Asia) (1986–1996), president of the Women's Commission of the FIBA (1986–1995) and vice-president of the Korean Olympic Committee (1993–1997). Sergei Alexandrovich Belov (; 23 January 1944 – 3 October 2013) was a Russian professional basketball player, most noted for playing for PBC CSKA Moscow, CSKA Moscow and the senior Soviet Union national basketball team.
