Expressways Of Vietnam
The Expressway network of Vietnam is a recent addition to the transport network of Vietnam. The first expressways were opened in the early-2000s, by 2020, the expressway network is expected to stretch and plans are for over of expressway by 2030. Development Expressways are a rather recent addition to the Vietnamese road network, and standardization has not been fully implemented. Ownership varies by expressway, they are financed, developed, owned and operated by either state-owned or private companies on behalf of the Ministry of Transport (Vietnam), Ministry of Transport. For example, state-owned Vietnam Expressway Corporation owns and operates four expressways, but toll collection is done by subcontracted companies. The companies operating the expressways have to report traffic numbers and toll revenue to the Ministry of Transport and the Directorate for Roads of Vietnam. Ninh Bình
Ninh Bình () is a small city in the Red River Delta of northern Vietnam. It is the capital of Ninh Bình Province. The Hanoi–Lao Cai Expressway Another name Noi Bai–Lao Cai Expressway (Vietnamese language, Vietnamese: ''Đường cao tốc Nội Bài - Lào Cai'', labelled CT.05) is an expressway section of the Expressways of Vietnam, 265 km long and has its starting point at the intersection of National Highway 18 with National Highway 2 in Thanh Xuân commune, Sóc Sơn district, Hanoi city and the end point at Duyên Hải ward, Lào Cai, Lao Cai province, connecting with G8011 Kaiyuan–Hekou Expressway at Lào Cai International Border Gate. North–South Expressway West
The North–South Expressway West (Vietnamese: ''Đường cao tốc Bắc – Nam phía Tây'') is a partially completed expressway in Vietnam that will form an inland parallel route to the North–South expressway. It will run from Đoan Hùng to Rạch Sỏi in the Mekong Delta, following a similar route to the historic Ho Chi Minh Highway. Between Hà Tĩnh and Da Nang, the narrowest part of Vietnam, it will be concurrent with the North–South Expressway. History The section Cao Lãnh - Lộ Tẻ opened in May 2018 and includes two major cable-stayed bridges, Cao Lãnh bridge over the Tiền River, and Vàm Cống bridge over the Hậu River. These bridges replaced ferry services, also carrying lanes for slower traffic.
