Expert Commission
The Expert Commission () in Chile was a 24 member body created to assist in the drafting of a new constitution by the Constitutional Council (Chile), second constituent assembly. Its primary objective was to draft a constitution for the Constitutional Council (Chile), Constitutional Council before it began its work, and the commission's text was to be used as a starting point. Law No. 21,533, which was published on January 17, 2023, established this commission. This law amended the Chilean Constitution of 1980, Chilean political constitution to incorporate the second process of drafting a new constitution. Amarillos por Chile (), sometimes written Amarillos x Chile (AxCh), is a Chilean political movement and party founded by Cristián Warnken in 2022, which brings together personalities from the country such as businessmen, former parliamentarians and former politicians from the defunct Concertación coalition, especially from the PPD and PDC. The collective emerged as a criticism of certain proposals of the Constitutional Convention that the movement considered, in its words, as "refoundational". The Christian Democratic Party ( es, Partido Demócrata Cristiano, PDC) is a Christian democratic political party in Chile. There have been three Christian Democrat presidents in the past, Eduardo Frei Ruiz-Tagle, Patricio Aylwin, and Eduardo Frei Montalva. Customarily, the PDC backs specific initiatives in an effort to bridge socialism and laissez-faire capitalism. Democratic Revolution () is a Chilean centre-left to left-wing political party, founded in 2012 by some of the leaders of the 2011 Chilean student protests, most notably the current Deputy Giorgio Jackson, who is also the most popular public figure of the party. The Social Convergence (, CS) is a left-wing political party in Chile. It is led by Gabriel Boric.
