Exo Discography
The discography of the South Korean-Chinese boy band Exo consists of seven studio albums (five of which have been reissued under different titles), seven extended plays, four live albums and twenty-eight Single (music), singles. Exo was formed by the Korean entertainment company SM Entertainment in 2011, and formerly consisted of twelve members separated into two sub-groups, Exo-K and Exo-M, releasing the same music simultaneously in both Korean language, Korean and Mandarin Chinese, Mandarin in South Korea and China, respectively. The group's first release, the extended play ''Mama (EP), Mama'', was released in April 2012. The album topped Korean music charts on its release. With the release of ''Don't Mess Up My Tempo'' in November 2018, Exo became the first South Korean artist who debuted in the 21st century to sell 10 million albums cumulatively. Oricon
, established in 1999, is the holding company at the head of a Japanese corporate group that supplies statistics and information on music and the music industry in Japan and Western music. It started as, which was founded by Sōkō Koike in November 1967 and became known for its music charts. Oricon Inc. was originally set up as a subsidiary of Original Confidence and took over the latter's Oricon record charts in April 2002. The charts are compiled from data drawn from some 39,700 retail outlets (as of April 2011) and provide sales rankings of music CDs, DVDs, electronic games, and other entertainment products based on weekly tabulations. XOXO (Exo Album)
''XOXO'' is the debut studio album by South Korean-Chinese boy band Exo, released on June 3, 2013, by SM Entertainment and distributed by KT Music. The album is a follow-up to the group's debut EP, '' Mama'' (2012). The album was released in two versions – a Korean "Kiss" edition and a Chinese "Hug" edition. Two singles were released from ''XOXO'': "Wolf" and "Growl", the latter being the lead single off the album's repackaged version released on August 5, 2013. Both singles went to chart in the top ten of the Gaon Digital Chart, and "Growl" peaked at number 3 on the ''Billboard'' K-pop Hot 100. The Official Charts (legal name: The Official UK Charts Company Limited) is a British inter-professional organization that compiles various "official" record charts in the United Kingdom, Ireland and France. In the United Kingdom, its charts include ones for singles, albums and films, with the data compiled from a mixture of downloads, purchases (of physical media) and streaming. UK Album Downloads Chart
The UK Album Downloads Chart is compiled by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on behalf of the music industry. Since July 2015, the chart week runs from Friday to Thursday, with the chart date given as the following Thursday. The chart was introduced in April 2006 to coincide with the OCC's decision to include sales of album downloads in the UK Albums Chart. The first album to top the download chart was '' This New Day'' by Embrace. The chart is published in ''Music Week'', ''UKChartsPlus'' and on the OCC's official website, with the former featuring the Top 75 downloads and the top 100 in the latter two.
