Every Nation
Every Nation Churches & Ministries is a worldwide organization of churches and campus ministries. The organization is located in seven regions around the world. The president is Steve Murrell. History In 1994, American evangelists Phil Bonasso and Rice Broocks visited Victory Christian Fellowship of the Philippines, Inc. led by Steve Murrell in Manila, Philippines. Together, they founded ''Morning Star International'' before changing the name in 2004 to ''Every Nation''. As of 2024, Every Nation has churches in 82 countries. It is notable that Broocks had a prominent role in Maranatha Campus Ministries before it folded in 1990. Publications ''100 Years From Now'' by the president and co-founder, Steve Murrell, states: "100 Years From Now explores the importance of understanding mission, values, and culture in order to grow and sustain a movement." Victory (church)
Victory Christian Fellowship of the Philippines, commonly known as Victory, is an evangelical multi-site church based in Taguig, Philippines. It is a member of Every Nation Churches. History Victory Christian Fellowship of the Philippines was started by missionaries Steve and Deborah Murrell, who came to the Philippines in 1984 together with Every Nation Churches co-founder Rice Broocks and 65 other American university students on a one-month summer mission trip. Since 1984, Victory has grown until it presently has churches in 60 Philippine cities. In 2015, Victory's Metro Manila church had 15 congregations, all with multiple services and locations, and many offering more than one language (English). Maranatha Campus Ministries
Maranatha Campus Ministries was a Charismatic/Pentecostal-oriented Christian ministry founded by Bob Weiner which existed from 1971 to 1990. Its primary outreach was to college and university campuses. Beginnings Maranatha began in 1971 in Paducah, Kentucky as a youth center led by Bob Weiner, a former Assemblies of God youth pastor. It was an outreach of a California-based ministry called "Global Missions." Weiner and his wife, Rose, had helped lead a large revival in Paducah earlier that year. Many disenfranchised "60's" teens found a new expression of Christianity in the center located near Paducah Tilghman High School. Large numbers of students from the surrounding area also began attending. In 1972, Weiner founded a campus ministry called the "Maranatha House" at Murray State University, a few miles from Paducah. Lifeway Christian Resources, based in Nashville, Tennessee, is the Christian media publishing and distribution division of the Southern Baptist Convention and provider of church business services. Until the end of its physical retail presence in 2019 it was best known for its brick and mortar LifeWay Christian Stores, one of the two major American retailers of Christian books and products (the other being Mardel Christian & Education). Lifeway produces curriculums and Bible studies used in Sunday schools and other church functions. Lifeway publishes the Christian Standard Bible (the successor to the Holman Christian Standard Bible), as well as Christian books and commentaries through B&H Publishing. Edward John Stetzer (born 1966) is an American author, pastor, and Christian Missiology, missiologist. He is Dean and Professor of Leadership and Christian Ministry at Talbot School of Theology at Biola University. He also serves as Distinguished Visiting Scholar at Wycliffe Hall at Oxford University.
