''Eva Doesn't Sleep'' ( es, Eva no duerme) is a 2015 drama film written and directed by Pablo Agüero. Plot The film details the fate of the corpse of Eva Perón, from her death on July 26, 1952 to the final arrival to the La Recoleta Cemetery in October 1976, where it has been located since then. The plot is divided in three short chapters, starring the embalmer of her corpse, the military that takes it to a secret location, and the kidnapping of Pedro Eugenio Aramburu by revolutionaries. Pablo Agüero (born 13 May 1977 in Mendoza, Argentina) is an Argentine-French filmmaker. Raised in the Argentinean Patagonia, Pablo Agüero obtained international recognition with "Primera Nieve", winner of the Grand Jury Prize in the Official Competition of the Cannes Festival 2006. Some of the actors who participated in his films are John Cale ( Velvet Underground), who acted for the first time in the cinema in "Salamandra". Emilio Eduardo Massera (19 October 1925 – 8 November 2010) was an Argentine Naval military officer, and a leading participant in the Argentine coup d'état of 1976.
