European Georgia – Movement for Liberty ( ka, ევროპული საქართველო – მოძრაობა თავისუფლებისთვის, tr) is a Liberalism, liberal political party in Georgia (country), Georgia. European Georgia dates its history all the way back to 1999, however, the party in its current form was founded in 2017 by dissenting members of United National Movement, compromising the vast majority of the party's parliamentary representation. European Georgia was originally chaired by Davit Bakradze. It participated in 2017 Georgian local elections, 2017 local elections and 2020 Georgian parliamentary election, 2020 parliamentary election becoming the third largest party in the country. Akaki Bobokhidze
Akaki (Oromo: ''Aqaaqii'') is a woreda or district in Oromia Region, Ethiopia. Part of the Oromia Special Zone Surrounding Finfinne, Akaki is bordered on the southwest by the Southwest Shewa Zone, on the west by Sebeta Hawas, on the northwest by Addis Ababa, on the north by the Bereh, and on the east by East Shewa Zone. The administrative center of this woreda is Dukem. Overview The altitude of this woreda ranges from 1500 to 2300 metres above sea level. Mount Yerer, on the border with Ada'a Chukala, is the highest point in Akaki; other notable peaks include Guji, Bilbilo and Bushu. Rivers include the Akaki, Dukem, and Awash. Important forests include the government-protected Yerer and Addis Baha forests. A survey of the land in this woreda shows that 72.2% is arable or cultivable, 7.6% pasture, 4.4% forest, and the remaining 15.8% is considered swampy, degraded or otherwise unusable. 2021 Georgian Local Elections
The 2021 Georgian local elections ( ka, საქართველოს ადგილობრივი თვითმმართველობის ორგანოების არჩევნები) were held on 2 and 30 October to elect the bodies of local government of Georgia. Background 19 April agreement On 19 April 2021, the ruling Georgian Dream party and the opposition signed an agreement, which ended a six-month political crisis stemming from the contested 2020 parliamentary elections. 2018 Georgian Presidential Election
Presidential elections were held in Georgia on 28 October 2018. As no candidate received more than 50% of the vote in the first round, a runoff between Salome Zourabichvili and Grigol Vashadze was held on 28 November 2018. Salome Zourabichvili won with around 60% of the vote in the second round and took office on 16 December 2018. Following amendments to the constitution in 2017, the 2018 elections were the last direct presidential vote; subsequential presidential elections were carried out by a 300-member College of Electors.
