EuroLeague Regular Season And Top 16 MVP
The EuroLeague Regular Season MVP and EuroLeague Top 16 MVP were awards that were given out by the top-tier level European-wide men's professional club basketball league, the EuroLeague. The EuroLeague initially gave out MVP awards for both the "regular season" and top 16 stages of the competition (the first two group stages of the season). Since these stages of the season each only encompassed a portion of the actual EuroLeague full season, these awards were eventually phased out. The EuroLeague then created the EuroLeague MVP of the Month award, which was a more fitting and appropriate award to give out instead for individual stages of the season; along with the EuroLeague Full Season MVP award, which is decided by a voting process, and covers the entire EuroLeague season, until the EuroLeague Final Four, which also has its own MVP award. EuroLeague awards were established in the 1987–88 FIBA European Champions Cup, 1987–88 season, when the EuroLeague's modern era and the EuroLeague Final Four first began. FIBA Hall Of Fame
The FIBA Hall of Fame, or FIBA Basketball Hall of Fame, honors players, coaches, teams, referees, and administrators who have greatly contributed to international competitive basketball. It was established by FIBA in 1991. Originally built in Alcobendas, Community of Madrid, Spain, by the Pedro Ferrándiz Foundation, it included the " Samaranch Library", the largest basketball library in the world with an estimated 10,000 basketball books and 950 magazines from over 65 countries. After ratification from the Central Board, it moved to the new FIBA headquarters as part of The Patrick Baumann House of Basketball after its construction was completed in 2013. Arvydas Romas Sabonis (; born 19 December 1964) is a Lithuanian former professional basketball player and businessman. Sabonis won the Euroscar six times and the Mr. Europa Award twice. He played in a variety of leagues, including the Spanish ACB League, and spent seven seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Playing the center position, Sabonis won a gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics, in South Korea, for the Soviet Union, and later earned bronze medals at the 1992 Olympic Games and 1996 Olympic Games representing Lithuania.
