Eternal (Eternal Album)
''Eternal'' is the fourth and final studio album by the British R&B group Eternal, released in November 1999. It was the first album they recorded without former member Kéllé Bryan, who was withdrawn from the group in 1998, and it is their only album as a duo. The album had very little promotion, only peaking at No. 87 on the UK Albums Chart; however, it did peak at No. 15 on the UK R&B Albums Chart and was praised for its more modern R&B sound. "What'cha Gonna Do" was the only single to be released from the album, and it gave Eternal their last Top 20 hit. Eternal (group)
Eternal are a British R&B girl group formed in 1992, with the line-up originally consisting of sisters Easther and Vernie Bennett, with Kéllé Bryan and the latter's friend and classmate Louise Nurding (later and better known as Louise Redknapp), who were also recruited into the group by the label. The group became an international success, selling around 10 million records worldwide. Nurding left the group before the release of their second album to focus on her solo career with the same label. Bryan left the group under undisclosed circumstances in 1998. The Bennett sisters were the only members left when the group disbanded in 2000. Eternal made a brief comeback in 2013, with Bryan returning to the group, only for the group to disband once again in 2014. They were considered the UK's answer to the American girl group En Vogue. Charles Farrar is an American songwriter, composer, and producer, best known for his songwriting work with vocal groups SWV, 702, Today, and Shades. In the late 1990s/early 2000s, Farrar, alongside Troy Taylor, was a member of "The Characters": a production duo that worked on Boyz II Men's ''Cooleyhighharmony'', as well as with Kenny Lattimore and numerous other artists.
