''Et spøkelse forelsker seg'' (A Ghost Falls in Love) is a Norwegian adventure film and spoof comedy from 1946. The film was directed by Tancred Ibsen, who also wrote the screenplay.> Plot At the Krogeby estate, which is owned by the Vinkelkrog family, there are four ghosts. Per Aabel plays Johnny Vinkelkrog, who visits his aunt Clementine. He happens to look exactly like one of the ghosts, and intrigue ensues when the two are mistaken. Tancred Ibsen
Tancred Ibsen (11 July 1893 – 4 December 1978) was a Norway, Norwegian Officer (armed forces), military officer, Aircraft pilot, aviator, film director and screenwriter. Background Ibsen was the son of Sigurd Ibsen and Bergljot Bjørnson. He was the grandson of both Henrik Ibsen and Nobel laureate Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson. He married dancer and actress Lillebil Ibsen in 1919, and remained married to her until his death in 1978. His son Tancred Ibsen, Jr. (1921–2015) was a Norwegian diplomat. Aviation career In 1917, Tancred Ibsen started pilot training at Kjeller Airport and began his career in the Norwegian Army Air Service. He started the first civilian active airplane company, ''A/S Aero'' in 1920, financed by his uncle, businessman Einar Bjørnson, and two shipowners. Arvid Nilssen
Arvid Nilssen (25 December 1913 – 24 March 1976) was a Norwegian actor, revue artist and singer. He was regarded as one of the leading comedians in Norwegian revue. Biography Nilsen was born at Alvdal in Hedmark, Norway. He made his debut in Oslo at the Scala Teater in 1935, and played at Chat Noir from 1937 and most of his career. He also participated in tours, recorded films, and was a guest on numerous radio programs. He was awarded the Leonard Statuette in 1968 and was depicted on a Norwegian postage tamp in 2001. He died in Oslo and was buried at Vestre gravlund. Ernst Diesen (6 April 1913 – 14 November 1970) was a Norwegian revue and film actor and theatre director. Biography He was born in Oslo, Kristiania (now Oslo), Norway. He was the son of Andreas Melchior Seip Diesen (1881–1958) and Sofie Elisabeth Aars Brodtkorb (1885–1968). In 1937, he married the singer and revue actress Kari Diesen (1914–1987). Diesen studied at the theater school operated by Max Reinhardt in Berlin from 1932 to 1933. He was a student at Det Nye Teater from 1933 to 1934. He worked for the revue theatre Chat Noir from 1934 to 1942 and as theater director from 1950 to 1953. He was at the Edderkoppen Theatre from 1943 to 1950 and again from 1954 to 1959. Kari Diesen (née Heide-Steen; 24 June 1914 – 18 March 1987) was a Norwegian singer and revue actress. She worked for the revue theatre Chat Noir from 1937 to 1953, and for the Edderkoppen Theatre from 1954 to 1959. She participated in 24 films between 1941 and 1985. Jon Lennart Mjøen (22 October 1912 – 3 January 1997) was a Norwegian actor, film director and screenwriter. He appeared in twelve films between 1936 and 1968.
