Erik Røste
Erik Røste (born 30 April 1960) is a Norwegian skiing coach, official and businessperson. He was born in Gjøvik and examen artium, finished his secondary education there in 1979. He took his degree at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences. He was hired as a junior and recruit coach in cross-country skiing (sport), cross-country skiing in the Norwegian Ski Federation in 1990. In 1994, he was promoted to sports director. He left in 1998, but continued as a consultant in Olympiatoppen until 2003. In 1998 he started a business career in Adidas, Adidas Norge in Gjøvik. In 2001 he became chief executive of Sport 1 Gruppen. From 2007 to 2008 he had a short tenure in Gjelsten Holding, before becoming chief executive of Bj Sport (Bjørn Dæhlie's clothing brand) in 2008. In 2008, Røste also became vice president of the Norwegian Ski Federation and the International Ski Federation. In June 2012 he was elected president of the Norwegian Ski Federation. The International Ski and Snowboard Federation, also known as FIS (), is the highest international governing body for skiing and snowboarding. It was previously known as the International Ski Federation () until 26 May 2022 when the name was changed to include snowboard. Sverre Seeberg
Sverre Knutsønn Seeberg (born 3 December 1950) is a Norwegian sports official. He was an active dog sled racer, being national champion in the sport. He served as president of the Norwegian Sled Dog Racing Association, co-founded the European Sled Dog Racing Association and in 1986 became an honorary member of his local club Holmenkollen Hundekjørerklubb. From 1983 to 1988 he was the secretary-general of the Norwegian Ski Federation. In skiing, he represents the club IL Heming. Seeberg became president of the Norwegian Ski Federation in 2002 upon Jan Jensen's death, and in 2004 he also became a board member of the International Ski Federation. In 2011 he was rumored to be a candidate as president of the Norwegian Confederation of Sports, but it did not go through. He stepped down from the Norwegian Ski Federation in 2012. Bjørn Dæhlie
Bjørn Erlend Dæhlie (born 19 June 1967) is a Norwegian businessman and retired cross-country skier. From 1992 to 1999, Dæhlie won the Nordic World Cup six times, finishing second in 1994 and 1998. Dæhlie won a total of 29 medals in the Olympics and World Championships between 1991 and 1999, making him the most successful male cross-country skier in history. During his career, Dæhlie measured a VO2 max of 96 ml/kg/min. Dæhlie's result was achieved out of season, and physiologist Erlend Hem who was responsible for the testing stated that he would not discount the possibility of the skier passing 100 ml/kg/min at his absolute peak. Olympiatoppen is an organisation that is part of Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports with responsibility for training Norwegian elite sport. Olympiatoppen is based at the Toppidrettssenteret between Norwegian School of Sport Sciences and Sognsvann. The leader of Olympiatoppen is Tore Øvrebø. Central is the idea of '' coaches'' for priority sports.
