Lime Cordiale
Lime Cordiale are an Australian pop rock group formed in 2009. It consists of brothers Oliver and Louis Leimbach, with additional members James Jennings, Felix Bornholt and Luke DiDio. They released their debut studio album '' Permanent Vacation'' in 2017. The group have performed at Groovin' the Moo and South by Southwest (SXSW). At the 2020 ARIA Music Awards they were nominated in eight categories and won Breakthrough Artist – Release for their second album, '' 14 Steps to a Better You'' (July 2020). Career 2009–2016: Early extended plays Lime Cordiale formed in Sydney in September 2009 as a duo by the brothers Louis Stanley Leimbach on bass guitar, trumpet, vocals and kazoo and Oliver Jay "Oli" Leimbach on guitar, clarinet and vocals. Triple J Hottest 100, 2022
The 2022 Triple J Hottest 100 was announced on 28 January 2023. It was the 30th annual countdown of the most popular songs of the year, as voted for by listeners of Australian radio station triple j. The day before, the Hottest 200 played, counting down songs 200–101. Merchandise sales from the event supported the Australian Conservation Foundation. Australian musician Flume's song " Say Nothing" featuring May-a was voted into first place. Australian band Spacey Jane had the most entries, with six, including three in the top 10. Over 2.4 million votes were submitted, and 57 entries in the countdown originated from Australian artists. The ARIA Charts are the main Australian record chart, music sales charts, issued weekly by the Australian Recording Industry Association. Triple J
Triple J is an Australian government-funded national radio station founded in 1975 as a division of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). It aims to appeal to young listeners of alternative music, and plays far more Australian content than commercial networks. The station was set up under the Gough Whitlam government, wanting to extend the appeal of the ABC to young Australians. Initially broadcasting as 2JJ or Double Jay from 19 January 1975, it stood apart from commercial stations with its lack of private advertising and its fringe music programming. Following a transition to FM in 1981, the station rebranded as 2JJJ or Triple J as it expanded regionally throughout the 1990s. The Canadian rapper Drake (musician), Drake and the American rapper Kendrick Lamar have been involved in a rap feud since 2013, when Drake responded to Lamar's verse on the Big Sean song "Control (Big Sean song), Control". "Inappropriate Behaviour" is a song by Australian pop rock duo Lime Cordiale, released on 17 May 2019 as the fourth single from their second studio album '' 14 Steps to a Better You'' (2020). It was the 31st annual countdown of the most popular songs of the year, as voted for by listeners of Australian youth radio station Triple J. The day after, the Hottest 200 was broadcast, counting down songs 200–101. Merchandise sales from the event support youth mental health organisation Headspace.
